One of my husband and I's closest friends left this week on an exciting adventure across the country. We spent as much time with her as we could this week and will look forward to seeing her in just a couple of months when we come to visit. We'll miss you so much Danielle!
Rain, Rain, Rain
It's been pouring down rain pretty much every day this week. While I love the rain, it does lead to some lazy days. Instead of getting up and getting to work, it's easy to convience myself to stay in bed with a book and take an excessive number of naps.
Tons of Contests!
It's the time of the year for agent and editor contests all over the internet. I've been researching and compiling information for a few different options that would fit well for me. But since each has different rules and regulations, it can be a bit overwhelming.
Nailed It Season Two
Arguably the funniest cooking show of all time, Nailed It, came back from Season Two a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't wait to watch it. This weekend, I hunkered down with some wine and watch the whole season in an evening. It was beautiful!
Camp NaNoWriMo
It's the last full week of camp and I'm trying not to panic! I think I'll definitely be able to reach the end of my book in the next week and the mixture of excitement and dread is already mounting up. Hope everyone who has participated this year is feeling good about where they are so far!
