Girl's Weekend
Last weekend, me and a couple of girl friends, plus Daniel, headed out to West Jefferson for a fun and relaxing weekend. We played board games, went out, dressed up, had Pajama parties. It was a ton of fun and a great reminder of what awesome people I have in my life.
Christmas In July Festival
While in West Jefferson, we stumbled upon a hidden gem, the Christmas in July Festival. We though tit would be small town, cute little event, but it was actually massive. There were tons of home crafts and events to see. I brought home a pretty good haul from our shopping trip!
Ant-Man And The Wasp
We had a chance to see the new Ant-Man and The Wasp movie this week. It was a great story and had great actors that had us laughing the whole time. Plus... you know... Paul Rudd!
Road Trip!
I'm currently about halfway through a road trip with my family. We started at our home in NC, drove up through Kentucky and are hanging out in Chicago for a bit. Next, we'll be making our way back down to check out my hometown of Plainfield, Indiana and then Indianapolis and back through Kentucky.
Camp NaNoWriMo
I'm about halfway through Camp for July and I'm doing better than expected, considering all the traveling and distractions I've had going on. I'm a little bit ahead of schedule, which is great in case I miss a day while on our trip this weekend.
