Why I'm Not Writing This Week 3/1
Welcome to "Why I'm Not Writing." We all know that the only thing writers like doing more than writing is avoiding writing. So every Friday I list five things that have distracted me from my writing that week.
I also encourage you to share with me what made you procrastinate this week by posting with #whyimnotwriting on Twitter, Facebook & Instagram, or share in the comments below. I'll feature my favorites with everyone here.
Rain, Rain, Rain…
It’s been raining like crazy the past few weeks. It’s just been a nasty, constant drizzle, with a few breaks here and there. We now have a pond in our backyard from all the rain that hasn’t been able to drain out yet and the creek in our backyard is much higher than usual.
Sick Husband
Poor Daniel has been puny this week. This allergies are hitting him hard and he was stuffed up and lethargic for most of Wednesday. I’m looking forward to the weather figuring itself out this Spring so we can all get back to breathing as usual.
The Umbrella Academy
We started watching The Umbrella Academy over the weekend, after hearing some good things about it from friends. We weren’t expecting much other than a fun, superhero-filled story, but we almost immediately were glued to the screen. We finished the show as quickly as we could and need to see the next season, immediately.

Charlotte - Traveling For Work
My day job sent me to Charlotte for a couple of days this week to help out some employees based down here. It’s always fun to have a change of pace and see how other people work in your field. But, I’m also very excited to get home this afternoon and back into my own bed.
