Camp NaNoWriMo
I won Camp NaNoWriMo for the first time! Wrote over 30,000 words this April which was around 100 pages of my manuscript, putting me almost 2/3rd of the way through Draft 5 of my novel! I'm hoping to get the rest done by the end of the summer.
Time With Family
This weekend I traveled to Birmingham, Alabama with my mom and dad to celebrate my cousin's marriage. It was a long drive down but we had a great time. It was a beautiful wedding and we had so much fun around the city. We visited the zoo and ate some awesome food.
Avenger's Infinity Wars
I've been a huge fan of the MCU movies since the first Iron Man movie (it doesn't hurt that I have a huge crush on Robert Downy Jr.). I'll be honest though, I was really nervous to see the newest Avenger's movie. I'm always afraid the series will grow too big for its breeches. But this movie was a funny, heartfelt emotional journey. And apparently there's a part two?!
Alexa & Katie
This Netflix show came out a few months ago, about two best friends. One is a high-strung type-A girl, one is struggling to beat cancer. It's basically a Disney Channel-esque teen drama, except with a lot more heart and love. It's beautiful and short enough to be worth your time.
